Computer Art



We had our first critique of Computer Art with Mr. Andy Bale this morning. We also discussed new ideas of imagery.

You need to post excerpts from the discussion...nice pics...I remember when I thought the computer was the most awesome thing in the world...then after learning it often takes 10 times the work and you can never get the 'feel' you want that you get from traditional renderings I've become less engrossed...not that it doesn't have advantages at times or that they are useless...one of my college profs (who does amazing 3D work on computers no less) calls them $5,000 paperweights...

I will put up whatever I can scrape up in that class. I can't say that I am excited with what I have made yet but I will keep trying.

There are a few people's work that I really enjoy that is done on computers. Personally, I love doing things by hand. I love the idea that they are paperweights.
