Dave's Wimpy Burger

Our Wednesday night small group is having a superbowl party this weekend and Dave had the idea to make miniature burgers. Somebody else called them wimpy burgers.

This was drawn with a Rotring Art Pen, a Pitt Artist Pen with a brush point (one of the shades of gray) and a little chalk(thanks to the Trobaughs for a great Christmas gift-everyone needs a little drawing chalk under the tree).

A Bun In the Oven

This was a card for some friends of ours that had a baby this week. The card was given some time ago but Max is now here.

LCBC

I have written before that I usually bring a sketchbook to church and draw while I take notes. One is our regular pastor at Lancaster County Bible Church. The other is Bono from U2, he was in an interview we watched today that was about giving to the needy.

This was another birthday card that was not well liked. On the inside it said, "I hope your birthday is as fun as wrestling a pig." The recipient didn't think that it was funny and wondered about some double meaning. There wasn't any and I still think that it is a funny card.

Pigs are fun to draw. As I go through files to find drawings to post I find more and more pigs. I guess they are easy.

Elmo Parties

This another birthday card. There are certain times of the year that I have time to make tons of cards. The rest of the time I am trying to survive school.

Two More Color Works

The pantsless man is a drawing for another card for our friends Bec and Jared after they headed north to Boston. The other is for my dad on his birthday. He has always been an Eagles fan despite living in NY.

Color Works

I find working in color to be a little daunting (still) and it was about a year ago that I began to venture that way. These are a couple of the first doodles in color. Both are cards and I think that they are done in watercolor (I think). The top one was for our friends Scott and Lisa and the bottom for Steph's cousin (and my awesome cousin-in-law), Tad.
