Linda Thompson vs. Dan Miller

This is my drawing of Mayor Linda Thompson of Harrisburg, Pa. for an essay on today's the day Harrisburg that discusses a legal battle between herself and City Controller Dan Miller. The essay can be found HERE.

Mayor Linda Thompson On A Police Bike

Harrisburg's inept mayor, Linda D. Thompson, recently donned a police uniform and rode a police bicycle to a prayer vigil that was taking place in remembrance of a murdered cab driver. I suppose her message was supposed to be something about her efforts to fight crime but, as she usually does, she attempted to make the event about herself. She looked ridiculous doing it. Click HERE to see my reference photo for the drawing. I don't want anyone to believe that I made all of this up.

Linda Thompson Smiles

I gave Mayor Linda Thompson a smile because someone recently questioned my psyche because most of the people I draw do not have a smile. I am pretty sure it is because I have to draw a lot of people that are miserable.

Random Sketches

This airplane is the sketch that I made in planning a final piece that you can see here.

A sketch of a man that was also waiting for a set in a restaurant.

This is Harrisburg mayor Linda Thompson as she presents her budget proposal for 2012. It was ultimately vetoed by city council.

For Today's The Day Harrisburg

For an article in Today's The Day Harrisburg on the next steps in the city of Harrisburg's journey through a financial crisis. I would write "a journey out of a financial crisis" but it seems that were not doing that yet. Here is the link to Today's The Day Harrisburg.

Mayor Linda Thompson Wants In

Mayor Linda Thompson initially claimed that she would be part of the state board that is to run Harrisburg. She mentioned this just before state legislation was announced that would effectively remove her from the table. For Today's The Day Harrisburg.

Wave Like The Queen!

Our mayor in Harrisburg will, at times, literally wave like the queen. Here is the machine that will do this for you. This drawing is the slightly more refined version of this previous one. The image is for Today's The Day Harrisburg.

Mayor Linda Thompson In a Boat

During the great flood of 2011 Mayor Linda Thompson toured the areas most effected by the flood in a boat. Par for the course of her tenure she boggled the leadership responsibilities required of a mayor during perilous times.

In Control Of This Ship- Mayor Linda Thompson

Mayor Linda Thompson claims that she is in charge of this ship at a community foot patrol orientation which she hijacked in an effort to make herself look good and to take credit for crime control initiatives that she has had nothing to do with.

Wave Like The Queen!

Or like Linda Thompson, mayor of Harrisburg, Pa. Mayor Thompson literally waves like she is a queen. I realize that this is a trite criticism but it is weird.
