Illustration Class

I am currently taking an illustration class with professor/author/illustrator Jonathan Bean. You can see some of his illustrations here.

This project assignment was to create two images that include a figure performing a recognizable action that is perceivable within a silhouette. Great project and a great class.

These are fabulous Ammon! The breezy movement in the second one takes my breath away. Really, really striking comps...both of them!

and two fabulous pieces of work. Are they drawings or digital I wonder - they are so clean! I love the way the silhouettes in the first create a sense of something slightly sinister, and the movement in the swing and the leaves in the second is so well handled.
