I was waiting for new inspection and emission stickers for my car for two hours this morning and drew while I waited. The puppet guy is not really there. While Bobby Rahal Honda offers many services, puppets is not one of them which is unfortunate.
This morning at LCBC, Pastor John Wilkinson illustrated his message with a large container in which he made chocolate milk, and his adventures at the rodeo.
A few of these are covered with spatterings from an airbrush. I was recently given one by a professor who was cleaning out a studio. It took some cleaning, I am sure that it was never well cared for by students and it has to be fairly old. Not wanting to waste the paint or canned air, I sprayed blank pages of my sketchbook for later sketches.
The ink leaking through from the first piece to the last piece is the reason I hate moleskins. The second one down is a bad self portrait print (drypoint on plexiglas) and the colored squares are acrylic on bristol. That is Les Stroud in the fur hood.
These are from my senior project that I have rejected for a new direction. Some of these are still unfinished. Included are Daniel Barkley (choking the other guy), Carolyn Lambright, Charles Hawkins (sitting at the table), and Paul Fox (with the stroller).
These are from the past two weekends at LCBC. The one of the lady is from a high school memory. The pastor mentioned something about counting to 10 and I thought of this moment. I was in the disciplinarian dean's office and she became so angry that mid sentence she counted to ten. Strange.
