David Unkovic
I was going through my sketchbook and found this sketch of Harrisburg Receiver David Unkovic that I made at a Harrisburg Hope forum.

At The Ear Doctor
These are the two sketches that I made while waiting for the ear doctor. I have only one hearing aid right now so I was wondering if it would help to have one enormous ear instead. Then it turned into a series of book titles. The other sketch is of a lady that was engrossed in her crossword puzzle which is perfect for someone like me that does not like to get caught drawing someone.

Mayor Linda Thompson On A Police Bike
Harrisburg's inept mayor, Linda D. Thompson, recently donned a police uniform and rode a police bicycle to a prayer vigil that was taking place in remembrance of a murdered cab driver. I suppose her message was supposed to be something about her efforts to fight crime but, as she usually does, she attempted to make the event about herself. She looked ridiculous doing it.
Click HERE to see my reference photo for the drawing. I don't want anyone to believe that I made all of this up.

A Family Portrait
Perhaps the toughest category of work that I get are family portraits or a caricature of someone that is to become a gift. I have to put away the pen that I use for bug eyes and big noses. The fun part about them is that the receiver of the gift is actually happy (usually). Normally I don't get that reaction from my subjects.

Gloria Martin-Roberts
My quick sketch while watching the 4 delegates for Pennsylvania's 103rd House Seat debate last week. Gloria Martin-Roberts is my least favorite before. She has recently left her seat as the Harrisburg city council president where she was venomous and go absolutely nothing done.
