You have great draftsmanship and a pretty unique style. Your mark-making is very specific and strong which is always important.
I did find that at my first glance at this, I thought that the figure was holding a hymnal and singing. This is because of the shape of the mouth and the eyes looking at the dictionary. Perhaps depicting the moment after the figure has finished speaking, giving the viewer a look would make this piece a little stronger.
I also would like to know the specific incident that spawned this cartoon...
